It is of great significance to reduce the consumption of forging furnace. The common measures are:
1. Use reasonable heat source
Forgings heating commonly used fuels are solid, powder, liquid, gas and other types. The solid combustion is coal; Powder fuel is pulverized coal; Liquid fuels are heavy oil and light diesel; Gas fuels are natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and gas. Most manufacturers use natural gas, and some commonly use liquefied petroleum gas, coal gas, but also some manufacturers use heavy oil, light diesel oil.
2. the use of advanced heating furnace
The digital regenerative type high speed pulse combustion and control technology and the continuous fuel supply regenerative type pulse combustion and control technology are adopted in the gas heating furnace for blanks and forgings. Compared with the conventional high speed burner + air preheater combustion mode, the energy saving rate is up to 50% and the furnace temperature uniformity is controlled between ±10℃ when applied to high temperature forging heating furnace; the energy saving rate is up to 30-50% and the furnace temperature uniformity is controlled between ±5℃ when applied to medium and low temperature heat treatment furnace.
3. the use of hot material loading process
Hot material loading furnace is an effective energy saving measure for heating large forgings, that is, the steel ingot poured from the steelmaking workshop is directly transported to the forging workshop for heating without cooling, and the furnace temperature is generally controlled above 600℃. Compared with cold charging furnace, it can save energy by 40-45%, save heating time, reduce the number of heating configurations, and improve production efficiency.
4. Waste heat recovery technology
The temperature of the flue gas discharged from the fuel furnace is as high as 600-1200℃, and the heat taken away accounts for 30-70% of the total heat. The recovery and utilization of this part of the heat is an important way to save energy in the forging workshop. At present, the main way to use is to use preheater, that is, using waste heat of flue gas to heat the combustion air and gas fuel. With the vigorous promotion of energy saving and emission reduction, the secondary recovery and utilization of waste heat technology will be more and more widely used in the forging industry.
