How is the grade of forging classified?
I think the forgings should be rated as grade 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 according to the requirements of pressure and mechanical properties, and then determine the inspection items according to the corresponding grade. I would also like to know according to what classification, the following is posted by a netizen, but there is no corresponding standard:
1. Flanges with design pressure less than 10.0mpa and forgings with similar geometric dimensions shall meet the requirements of Class II or above;
2. Forgings with design pressure greater than or equal to 1.6mpa should meet the requirements of GRADE II or above;
3. The design pressure is greater than or equal to 10. 0MPa medium and small forgings should meet grade III requirements, large forgings should meet grade III or IV requirements;
4. Forgings with extremely or highly hazardous medium toxicity and forgings with a section size greater than 300mm should meet class III or IV requirements.
